Course on reliability engineering and its three most important aspects: statistical analysis of failures, failures and degradation, accelerated tests, and complex systems.
RSW250 – FUNDAMENTALS OF RELIABILITY (ENGLISH VERSION)
Developed by reliability engineers and developers of reliability software, the course is a valid point of reference for raw data analyses (field data, test data…) or degradation analyses, accelerated tests, RAM analysis developed from the combination of subsystems.
The online version of this course is comprised of seven three-hour sessions over five days, as indicated in the schedule below.
Practical exercises during the course are carried out with the help of the following software packages: Weibull++, the ALTA add-on for accelarated tests, and BlockSim for the analysis of complex systems.
RSW250 – Fundamentals of reliability; who is it for?
Prior knowledge of the subject is not required, but it is assumed that participant have a university-level knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts.
The course is particularly useful for quality and testing engineers who wish to learn the concepts of accelerated testing to form projections on the reliability of a product. It is also useful for engineers tasked with estimating field returns relative to the product populations on the market.
Software used during RSW250
RSW250 makes use of ReliaSoft Weibull++, the ALTA add-on, and BlockSim. These remarkably performant software packages will be distributed to each participant with a temporary licence to use them during the course and in each participant’s work context.
